About Alexander Education
Based in Northcote (Melbourne) Alexander Education offers classes and private lessons in the Alexander Technique. The teaching team includes the expertise of Kate Morris & Chris Falk.
Kate Morris has been teaching the Alexander Technique and Yoga since 2001. Kate holds a doctor of philosophy in Health Sciences and is qualified in both Yoga, the Alexander Technique and Creative Arts Therapy. She recognises the Alexander technique as a means to whole-health and wellbeing. Kate has a special interest in working with: injury, illness, stress management, performing musicians and athletes.
Chris Falk is a qualified Alexander Technique and Yoga teacher. Chris also holds an Advanced Diploma in Music Performance, with an emphasis on Jazz and contemporary styles. She is a performing singer song-writer with 20 years experience in the music industry. She has an interest in applying Alexander Technique to assist singers and instrumentalists to reach their goals. Chris also teaches singing and guitar.
Kate Morris and Chris Falk are both members of the Australian Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (AUSTAT) and the International Yoga Teacher's Association (IYTA).
